Unmix Privacy Policy

Unmix is a puzzle game by Codara, Inc. It has no accounts and asks for no name, email, or contact details. This page says what the game does handle, and why.

Your age

On first launch the game asks for your year of birth. It is stored only on your device and decides one thing: whether ads and purchases are available. Players under 13 see no ads, cannot buy anything, and send us no gameplay statistics. You can change your answer any time in Settings → Age and privacy.

Gameplay statistics (optional)

If “Share anonymous statistics” is on in Settings, the game sends us anonymous play data: which levels were started, completed or abandoned, how many moves and how long they took, which boosters were used, and the device platform and app version. Each install is identified by a random id generated on your device; it is not linked to you, your device identifiers, or your IP address (which our server never stores). We use this only to tune level difficulty and decide when to add levels. Turning the switch off deletes the id and stops sending. The data is kept in Google BigQuery in the United States.

Advertising

For players 13 and over, rewarded video ads are shown only when you choose to watch one (for bonus coins or to skip a level). Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising identifier under its own policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent before any ad loads; on iOS it asks for tracking permission through the system prompt. Without consent, ads are non-personalised or off.

Purchases

Coin packs are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a receipt that lets us credit the coins; the stores handle payment and keep your payment details. Purchases are consumables and are not restored across devices.

What stays on your device

Your progress, stars, coins, settings and the age answer are saved on your device (and in its system backup). Deleting the game deletes them.

Children

Unmix is not directed at children under 13. If the age question is answered as under 13, no advertising SDK is initialised, no purchases are offered, and no statistics are sent.
